Proof That God Has a Humor

                                                      The Platypus

Hello, everyone, I'm back with one of the weirdest animals in the world.  It has the feet of the frog, the bill of the duck, the venom of the snake, and it lays eggs like a bird but it is a mammal it's a monotreme. It's the PLATYPUS! Other monotremes are 4 species of echidnas also known as spiny anteater all found in Australia and Papa new guinea. The platypus has very thick fur which like the otter prevents it from getting soaked. The Platypus lives mainly in Austrailia and Papa new guinea. In the spring when the waterfalls cause a current the Platypus thrive. The scientific name for the platypus "Ornithorhynchus anatinus" originated from Greek and ornithorhynchus means "bird snout" and anatinus means "duck-like" in Latin.

The platypus are very intelligent and smart animals the females have to prepare for the up
coming mating and nesting. The females do not give any help to making the nest. The mating season is here now and when the male try's to find a girl the male fights many times with other males. This fighting can be lethal because the male platypus has a spur on his hind leg and can spur his opponent with it and inject venom. When they are done fighting the male bites the female's tail. After the male bites the females tail they start to dance in the water these dances can go to sometimes 20 minutes! They go in figure eights and it is very beautiful to seehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3nD_jlutNeM&t=84s.

Animal Safari (fact, fiction)

                                                 Safari Trip
Once upon a time in a little town there was a family of a Mother, and two twins. The Mothers name was Katie, and the two girls names were Sarah, and Margret. One beautiful Saturday morning Katie awoke the two girls and said wake up sleepyheads it is breakfast time. Hooray said Margret pancakes for breakfast, OOOaaah yawned Sarah good morning Mom, good morning Mom good morning Margret. After the family was ready to make breakfast they all got their aprons on and started making pancakes and it was fun. Once they were seated around the table Katie said grace and then they started eating, girls said Katie I want to talk to you about something very important.

Girls I have something good to tell you, and something bad to tell you which one do you want to hear first? The good one, the good one alright the good thing is that all of us were invited on a Kenyan Safari would you like to go? Yes Mother, Oh yes Mother we would love to said the twins. The bad news is that your friends Mattie, and Mallea got sick and that is why you are going tomorrow now time to go and pack while I do dishes, yes Mother.

The next day they were all waiting at the bus stop at 9:00 am then there it was the bus Yay. Once they arrived at the Safari grounds they all stared Wow they all said it was beautiful there were all sorts of animals. They heard the Safari guide say all aboard, they all got in the jeep and once it was all full they set off. Kenya is usually warm but if it rains it rains hard very very hard. Luckily though today was a beautiful day they saw Elephants, Tortoises, Giraffes, Zebras, Lions, and more, then it was lunchtime. The jeep crew all got out and they started eating lunch, the family sat down and opened their lunch boxes they all started eating. The whole crew heard a monkey overhead and they all laughed he laughed back at them, this conversation went on for a long time then finally it grabbed Margret's sandwich and hurried away with it. Hey cried Margret, Katie, and Sarah all at once give that sandwich back.
The monkey accidentally dropped the sandwich and it landed in a pile of dirt, then the Safari guide looked over at the patch of dirt. She said that the pile of dirt was called sod it made the lands of Kenya very rich in soil, the lady apologized to the family and then gave Margret another sandwich. Then they all finished their lunch without any more disruptions. They all had a good sleep that night and returned home in the morning no more monkey troubles. Yay!

                         The End

                                                  Manatee
Hi everyone I am going to tell you a little bit about Manatee's and Sassafras trees. I am going to start by telling you a little bit about Manatee's. Manatee's look like seals and whales mixed together, funny right. Guess what some people think that since they are so smooth and chubby looking so they call them the teddy bear of the sea.  Manatee's love relaxation 1st of all because they are slow and cannot do much, 2nd of all they do not have many things to do but relaxation. You can usually spot Manatee's during early spring in Florida's coastal rivers. The Manatee's diet is basically sea grass and some other small plants that are easy to suck up. There are 2 other animals in the Manatee's animal family the Du-gong and the Sea-cow. They both look alike to the Manatee.

                      Sassafras Tree
The Sassafras tree belongs to the Laurel family. They can usually be found at around 20-60 feet high, but you can rarely find any 100 foot ones. In the summer the female trees produce fruit that is blue purple or red, the fruits are not edible but the roots, stem, and the leaves are edible. In the fall the Sassafras trees leaves all change in color they can turn red, orange, blue, or purple! Native Americans used the Sassafras tree's to cure fever, diarrhea, common cold, toothache, mental disorders, arthritis, sore eyes, kidney failure, insect bites, nosebleed, cuts, and sprained ankles!!!

Snapping Monster

Hello everyone and I am back with THE MONSTER the ALLIGATOR SNAPPING TURTLE!!!! You will be amazed at how gentle this ferocious monster can be its gentleness is a sign of God's wonderful creation.

An alligator snapping turtle is an amazing animal that has been created it is known to be the largest freshwater turtle in North America its weight wavers from 175 lbs - 220 lbs. This monsters shell length is 66 centimeters for a male and a female is the same. The alligator snapping turtle has many differences from the regular snapping turtle the alligator snapping turtle has a much bigger mouth span and he is much calmer.

The alligator snapper has an appearance that you would not expect from a turtle you think that turtles are these beautiful things that you can hold without them biting you. That is wrong almost all turtles bite and hunt and eat and kill they are all like that you they cannot get away from having to hunt. All turtles have different ways of hunting the alligator snapping turtle hunts by lying at the bottom of a river, stream, or a pond and they have a little thing that looks like a worm, it also looks like that weird pink string at the back of your throat that is too far up. The fish think that it is a worm and then they come and SNAP!!! he caught dinner!

The normal snapping turtle hunts just like any other animal he looks around for food and as beautiful as it is it is just as dangerous as the alligator snapping turtle so do not think that turtles are safe and cuddly just please do not cuddle them.

I hope that everyone that reads this will acknowledge God's beautiful creations.

The Awe You'll Find in Your Last Few Breaths

                  The Great Anaconda

This wonder of a world is a non-venomous constrictor which means that it squeezes it's prey to death. They are in the water more than any other boa-constrictor. Smaller Camans are a good catch for the Anaconda since their shape is so triangular. When Anacondas are captured they go straight into self-defense mode: looping the rest of their body around their head. A large female fully grown adult Anaconda can grow up to 20 ft long, weigh over 235 lbs, with a width of 12 inches! Just like many other animals, the male Anaconda is quite a bit smaller and thinner than the female Anaconda. Although most animals have a size difference according to gender the Anaconda has the biggest gender difference. The wet season starts in May and lasts through the month of November. The dry season starts in late November and goes through April when the cycle starts again. Before the dry season, the animals feast so they won't completely starve in the dry season. Anaconda's only usually eaten 3-4 times per year. Female Anaconda's need to store up fat for their pregnancy since they do not eat for about 7 months. An Anaconda's digestive system is so strong that they can digest a turtles' shell! They have more than 100 backward facing teeth that help it shove the prey into its mouth.

                                The King of The River

Mother Crocodiles usually lay up to 40 eggs in one clutch. They stay in their eggs for 55 to 110 days. Though the mother never strays too far away from the nest. But once they hatch they have mere seconds before creatures with come and snatch them from the nest. The babies are buried by when they make there way out their high pitch little screams alert the mother that her babies are hatched. Once she gets there, there are usually quite a few dead or taken babies. Then she picks up the remaining babies and scoops them up into her mouth. The nest is usually built near or next to a sheltered watering hole. There are usually large fish, lizards, and other predators that eat more of the hatchlings. The mother at this point hasn't eaten for about 3 weeks so her fat reserves would have basically run out by now. So sad as it is she has to eat some more of the babies.

1,million wildebeast cross /Kenya and Tanania in search of better grass they do this twice a year and they eat over 4000 metric tons of grass per day however they have to cross the maro river that is crocodile infested. Just coincidentally crocodiles favorite food is wildebeast. once the wildebeast get to the river bank the younger ones can't resist a long drink since they haven't had a drink for over 4 days on the hot African plain. But the older ones know better than to head straight in. The younger wildebeast proceed into the deeper water and in doing so get closer to the crocodiles crouching at the bottom of the river. Once a wildebeast in in the 4 meter circle around the crocodile it rockets upward hitting it
