My Horse Has a Frog In Its Foot!!!??

Alright everyone today this post will not be about just an answer or just a question it is about both. Well, all you really need to do now is read.

A horse's full hoof  (foot).
Okay so on June 15th, 2016 I went horseback riding and I asked my horse riding teacher Hannah why do they call the inside of the horse's hoof (foot) the frog, my teacher is very smart and knows a lot about horses but even she did not know why! So Hannah asked me to research that for both of us. Again here I am doing a blog post from a farm.

My guess to why the inside of the horse's foot is called the frog is because when you look at the frog the legs point out like the inside of the horse's foot. Now let's see if I got the answer right. The real answer is that the frog of the horse's foot is triangular such as a frogs body. A horses hoof is very delicate it is so delicate because if a rock gets stuck in the horse's hoof or small pebbles get stuck under the horseshoe this will cause the horse to fall, to trip, to be in A LOT of pain, etc.

Now I will introduce people and things. Alright so the first horse that I rode was named Fairy Tale she was a beautiful well behaved horse I rode her for about 2 weeks and then she was sold, then after her, I had Stewart little who was huge. He was quite the naughty boy sometimes, and then after him, I rode MARSHMALLOW and I still ride him today. He is a wonderful horse. It is like he and I were meant for each other. I have been riding with Hannah for about 1 year now and I really like her. I have been riding Marshmallow for about 3 months and I just learned how to canter with him 4 weeks ago.

I love horses so much and wish I could ride every single day!
