My Horse Has a Frog In Its Foot!!!??

Alright everyone today this post will not be about just an answer or just a question it is about both. Well, all you really need to do now is read.

A horse's full hoof  (foot).
Okay so on June 15th, 2016 I went horseback riding and I asked my horse riding teacher Hannah why do they call the inside of the horse's hoof (foot) the frog, my teacher is very smart and knows a lot about horses but even she did not know why! So Hannah asked me to research that for both of us. Again here I am doing a blog post from a farm.

My guess to why the inside of the horse's foot is called the frog is because when you look at the frog the legs point out like the inside of the horse's foot. Now let's see if I got the answer right. The real answer is that the frog of the horse's foot is triangular such as a frogs body. A horses hoof is very delicate it is so delicate because if a rock gets stuck in the horse's hoof or small pebbles get stuck under the horseshoe this will cause the horse to fall, to trip, to be in A LOT of pain, etc.

Now I will introduce people and things. Alright so the first horse that I rode was named Fairy Tale she was a beautiful well behaved horse I rode her for about 2 weeks and then she was sold, then after her, I had Stewart little who was huge. He was quite the naughty boy sometimes, and then after him, I rode MARSHMALLOW and I still ride him today. He is a wonderful horse. It is like he and I were meant for each other. I have been riding with Hannah for about 1 year now and I really like her. I have been riding Marshmallow for about 3 months and I just learned how to canter with him 4 weeks ago.

I love horses so much and wish I could ride every single day!

I'm Going to Teach you a Lesson About Live Es-cargo

snail slime

snail eggs

Hello everyone I'm back. This time with the snail! Some of you might say YUCK! But no these are actually very easy and not disgusting creatures.

Something very exciting is happening I am getting pet snails so I needed to learn how to take care of these wonderful creatures.

Mom's friend came across her 2 snail sort of climbing each other. She did not know if they were mating or playing. It appears that they were mating and she said that I can have the snail eggs! I am telling you a lot about what I learned about snails but I have only just started.

Snails are not gross they are cool. There slime is how God created them just like us we move around on feet and legs they get around on slime. Even though they are slow unlike snakes God loves them.  The only thing other than that is just that you have to clean up the slime.

A jar is a good starting home but use a large one, then add a little bit of dirt to the bottom. Drill holes in the top so that the snails can breath don't make them to large or else they with escape. Don't make it to small or they will not be able to breathe. Now you will be ready to put toys and your snails in.

Snails eat cabbage leaves, radish, sometimes grass, clover is a favorite food turnip leaves, basil, and kitchen waste much more than that probably. The snail is a very unique creature and I think every creature has it's own thing that is cool. You bathe the snail by setting it in a shallow dish of warm water, then you pour more water over it and scrub it with a soft toothbrush.

Tip: Cuttle bone is good to put in the snail's container because it strengthen their shells. You can buy one from a pet store.

Thank you so much for reading this post I hope you learned something and I wouldn't be surprised if one day you had some snails of you own. See you next time for the hyena documentary.
