Why are Jalapeno Peppers so Spicy?

This paragraph or two will answer your question  about why jalapeno peppers are spicy.

They are spicy because of the capsaicin trapped inside the pepper. Capsaicin itself does not taste or smell like anything but they do produce spiciness. Another fascinating thing about these peppers is that casaicin is only found in the jalapeno pepper itself.

Capaisin is made by the glands which are stored in the placenta of the  pepper the placenta is right under the stem. Alot of people take the placenta and the seeds out since they are so spicy. The placenta is the hottest part of the pepper because it holds the Capsaivin in it.

Well this was not necessarily about animals but at-least you learned something about God's wonderful design on food. I hope that this little post answered your question about why jalapeno peppers are spicy. Thanks for joining me and see you next time.

The Piranha

Hello everyone today I learned about the monsterquest team who taught us about the piranha who are a man eating fish! There is a picture of one to the right and that is the red belly Piranha but there are also many other species of them and they also come in different sizes.

The Piranha can skin the bottom of a boat with their huge and sharp fish teeth they can also eat a goose within minutes if they work together!

You are probably wondering where the piranha lives. Well keep reading and you will find out.
The Piranha live in Texas southern Brazil and other tropical areas. The piranhas' usual home is in the warmer climates of south America. The Piranha's teeth look like the lower picture on the right!

The monsterquest team set out chicken as bate for the Piranha. They waited a while and then came back. No sign of piranha on the chicken, but when check the nets they set out there are a lot of Piranha. They think that they need fresher bate. So they got some fresh chicken. When they came back there were a lot of rips but not from the piranha but by other fish. After that one of the team members went fishing to see some Piranha. You can watch the documentary here on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gGIJ247JyuU

The piranha eat big dead things or small live things. Piranhas have flesh eating teeth that can devour within minutes. Piranhas can travel in schools like the blue jacks but they also can travel on their own like the anglerfish.

The fishermen were trying to find out if the piranha can live in the same lake all year round. The answer is yes. Of course they can if it is warm enough but if the winter is less than 55 degrees fahrenheit or 13 degrees celsius they will die. If the Piranha lives in lower than 57 degrees fahrenheit they will turn over on their side because it is so cold that they just cannot stand upright. When the Piranha lives in winter there is not much hunting or scavenging because it seems that where they live over the winter there is a lot of food available.

When you go into the water where they live you should always be careful because you never know if they are together in a school which is very bad because one is bad enough so be careful.

Goodbye everyone  I hope that you will join me next time on my animal adventure which will be about tasmanian devil.

Crocs and Alligators

Hi again everyone it is Rainy and today I will be talking a little bit about the differences about alligators and crocodiles and just about the great animal.

`
Did you know that you can tell the difference of an alligator and  a crocodile is that a  alligator has a wider snout but a crocodile has a skinnier  v shaped  snout. Another difference is that a crocodile kind of shows a grin with their teeth. Crocodiles also tend to live in saltier body's of water and an alligator lives in more fresh water.
               Crocodile             Alligator

I think that alligators and crocodiles are a great sign of God's creation. They are very dangerous but they are still an animal and they are still God's creation so i do not think that people should not like alligators and crocodiles even though they are scary and you might get hurt. I myself don't want to take the risk and go diving with dangerous animals but I like them when they are tamed and wild dangerous or not I just think that since I know of dangerous animals now It's a little scary going swimming in a river lake swamp or creek. If God likes things then I do not see why we don't like some of the animals he loves to.

Good bye everyone keep reading and you will probably find me stuck up in an animal adventure like usual.

On the Farm

Hello everyone today I will be talking about chickens, goats, and goldfish. A few days ago I went to our friends  house and she lives on a farm and so we got to see some of her animals.

. At her house she had goldfish I learned that goldfish are very delicate creatures and so that day she decided it would be good to transfer the goldfish into her rain barrel. While she did it she just let the bucket sit there so that the goldfish would get used to the water temperature change. If you do dump them in they will get sick and them might die!

At her house we got to see her two goats the baby's name was buddy and the mother's name was sunshine. I learned that the goats have their horns as a gift from God and they are used to fight and so if they did not have their horns their life would be harder.

At her house we also got two see her chickens I learned about the chickens that when they get sunburned there is a pinkish reddish spot on their skin and it is what a chicken's sunburn looks like. Also the chickens instead of having a water bath like we have they have a bath called a dust bath it is very simple they just have to roll around in a little dust pit and they will be clean again.

At her house we got to play, we got to see her animals, and we even got to have lunch at her house and my sister and I helped.
I can hardly wait for the next time to go to her house.

Hope to see you next time to read about my next exciting animal adventure. Thank you very much for reading my posts.

GPOs

Hi again everyone it's Rainy, and I have come back with a legend, and a diving expedition.
and attacks with GPO's!

Today I learned about a gpo which stands for giant pacific octopus.Did you know that there are legends about schila and it was known that it would wait for passing ships and when one came it would attack! The divers said that schila's actions were those like an octopuses and a scientist or diver said that he thinks there is such thing as a great pacific octopus and another scientist said that there could not be so such thing as a 200 arm span octopus!

The divers in the documentary got into a fight with a octopus two times the first fight was with an underwater camera the octopus was pulling one end while the diver was pulling the other end. Then the second fight was with another octopus pulling out one of the divers breathing thing that attaches to your mouth and the other end to the tank
but anyway he as in the octopus started to pull it out!

        Now comes the diving expedition!
The divers went at different times of the day so in one day they searched twice one in the morning and one in the night time. The divers said the first time they went in the night they said that it would be their dangerous diving yet. They took the risk and went down anyway they put many underwater camera's underwater and they took a lot of pictures.

Well that's really all that I learned so keep reading and you'll find me in another exciting adventure with animals.

Bull Sharks and Greenland Sharks: Interesting Facts

Hello everyone it is me again and I am back to share with you some interesting things about the Bull shark and Greenland sharks.

The Greenland shark looked to the divers  to be about 12 feet long! You know that it is a Greenland shark because of its massive body and slow swimming. The Bull shark lives in shallow fresh water. Some people blame the Great White for shark attacks but now that people know about the Bullshark they think that the Bullshark should be blamed for the shark attacks. Now that the people know that the Greenland shark still exists they think that the shark attack on a boy and a man who tried to help him might happen again with another Greenland shark!

The Greenlands live in Greenland, Iceland, and some of the arctic circle, and some of Europe!

One day some fishermen were fishing out in the river and they caught something but it was hard to pull the net back in. It appears that they had caught half a-dozen bull sharks but one of the sharks got  away. It is very hard for me to understand because the picture shows bull shark that look like fish and then when they show the shark that got away and its fin that sticks out of the water is huge and so either that the half a-dozen sharks were small or the one that got away was big.

So remember that a greenland is a greenland because it is huge and slow, and a bull shark because it lives in very shallow water and they live in freshwater rivers.

So keep reading and you will have another exciting adventure with me. Bye

Welcome to Rainy's Wild Animal Playground Blog

Hello evryone my name is Rainy, and I love animals. As of right now I am an animal loving 7 year old.

For school I do lots of things such as Bible study, math, french and other things. If  I get my schoolwork done on time my Mom lets me watch animal documentarys which I love.

I like scary and dangoureous things like crocodiles, and sharks and things like that. I used to watch the crocodile hunter but I think I watched all of the vidoes so many times that I have to admit I got kind of tired of it. Whenever my sisters watch the documentaries with me Whisper always says "this is to scary" so I put on another one and when Whisper does that it is pretty funny.

When I am older I am pretty sure that I want to be an animal ranger so that I can save endangered spiecies of animals like elephants, sharks, camans, crocodiles and many others. My brain is filled with animal stuff or animals. At my home I have a dog, and a cat, we also babysit our friend's dog.

Keep following me on my blog and hear about the next animal adventure I have.
